Emmy & Robert are such a light-hearted, sweet couple - they truly had a beautiful wedding day, complete with bright, sunshiny colors and flying butterflies, kind of like their personalities :) This first image I just stumbled across - omg, i love it when that happens ... meandering across a scene that looks you would've set it up ... Just returned from a busy, busy, wonderful week in Las Vegas - the WPPI (Wedding & Portrait Photographers International) Convention, with an estimated 15,000 photographers in attendance from all over the world. I so enjoyed the entire week, kicking off with two days of intense print judging of some very cool categories, including photojournalism, humor, fashion, and nature & landscape. I had the great opportunity to judge alongside some immensely talented individua

Kate & George were married on a beautiful, sunny day in North Carolina. Perfect time of year for blue skies, gorgeous greens and brightly-lit flowers everywhere. And, of course, for two lovely people in love :) I always like an image of the dress before - not just before it is worn, but before all the wrinkles are out, before it is absolutely perfect. When it just is there, ready and waiting to contain not just all the promise of the day, but of all that is to come...
