A big thank you to The Knot for including my photography in their big wedding special issue, Best Of Weddings, 2008! The featured editorial was from Abigail & Ray's beautiful wedding at The Fearrington in Pittsboro, NC, which was just a joy to shoot. I have to go back and do some counting, but I want to say that we've had real weddings featured in something like the last 6 issues of the magazine in a row, too. We definitely do appreciate it!

When I photographed Sarah & Paul's gorgeous 4-day affair in Kona, it was a seriously magical series of parties with their closest (fun and charismatic) friends & family surrounding them, enjoying all that the island had to offer, and then some! Their wedding was showcased on The Knot's Destination Weddings, and we have finalized the album for production. It's 100 pages! We just really wanted to bring the feel of the entire series of events together into one big boo

A bridal portrait I photographed of the gorgeous Carrie Williamson was picked up for exclusive usage (with the blessings of Carrie, of course!) by a cosmetics company, and it's been great fun to see them use this image as the sole core-message photograph in their national campaign. I'd seen it last month in Ladies Home Journal and Martha Stewart (I am really enjoying Martha Stewart nowadays :) And then I saw that it appeared in Vogue Magazine and Elle Magazine this month,

Sharon & Sean planned a big wedding in a short amount of time, with the aid of wedding coordinator extraordinaire, Ivy Robinson. Their engagement session was cute, easygoing and they showcased their sweet affection for each other. My favorite series of them together... They celebrated their wedding outdoors, at Duke Gardens, and their lovely reception was held at The Governor's Club. Sharon and her family (and Ivy Robinson) had planned quite a stunning wedding in a very short amount of time, and because of events out of their control, there were so many swirling emotions going into her wedding -

They had a candlelight ceremony and were surrounding by a family I am honored to have come to know, photographing her sister's wedding and her cousin's wedding over the last couple of years. You may remember Lauren's gorgeous bridal portrait... Here is the other beautiful star of the day :) With her dad, who so wanted to make his girls happy on their wedding days :) Thanks to Katie for catching this impromp

When Abigail called to say that she and Ray were traveling from New York to North Carolina to get married at the Fearrington, we hit it off on the phone right away. I knew that Abigail would be a particularly fun subject to shoot since she's not just a Ford model, but she's specifically a bridal model, having graced the cover of Modern Bride more than once

They spent the day and evening with a plethora of great friends and family. They are both such smart, together people, the day went off without a hitch!
