the entire family at the island

I met with Kimrey and her extended family at Bald Head - I think there were about 20 people there in total (?) - we shot everyone together and apart and as they all ran about and played and splashed and danced. I have to start with my favorite photograph of the entire shoot. We started safely on the beach but everyone quickly moved to the water. This was a great moment - an attempt to look my way but the excitement and shock of the waves crashing in brought about this wonderful image:

We were shooting at a beautiful time in the early evening...

Three went in together, but one came back markedly sooner :)

The children eventually tired, and all respective families rode home in their carts - wet, sandy, and generally wiped out - but in great spirits all the same.
