the mcclendon family

I met the McClendon family out at Ayr Mount, a gorgeous retreat-like park in Hillsborough. My favorite part of Ayr Mount is the wistful Poet's Walk - I once photographed the area for a book I shot a few years ago, Evenings For Two. The kids were hilarious - all over the place, up in trees, running through the paths. We had a great, sunny, cool day, the perfect photographic storm :)
